MOMS Club® of Eagan-East, Minnesota is a chapter of International MOMS Club.
MOMS (MOMS Offering Moms Support®) Club is a group designed especially for stay-at-home moms and moms who work part-time (including moms with home-based businesses)!
Founded in 1983, at-home mother Mary James from Simi Valley, California, decided she was tired of being alone at home. She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with. When she discovered there were no other organizations that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a brand new organization just for at-home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born.
The chapter she started was so successful, she knew mothers in other areas must be needing the MOMS Club, too. Soon she and other volunteers were helping mothers start MOMS Clubs across the country and around the world! We now have over 2,000 chapters with more than 100,000 members across the United States. We also have International chapters starting too!
This is a club for you. You can attend the already planned events or coordinate ideas of your own. The main goal of the club is to provide support, to help each other, so that moms are not isolated.
In our busy lives of caring for our children and families, MOMS Club is here to support you!
Eagan-East Chapter
We are local moms with children of all ages who have come together to offer one another support, resources, and friendship. As an International nonprofit organization, we also coordinate fundraising and other assistance for families in need. Please see our Community page for more information.
Activities
As a MOMS Club member, you will be invited to enjoy many activities with your children each month, such as play-dates, field trips, fun days, and group walks. There are also activities just for adults, for example, MOMS Night Out and Couples’ Night Out.
Meetings
We hold our regular monthly business meetings on the last Thursday of each month. We begin at 10:00 a.m. and have a nursery available for your children. Our business meetings include a discussion topic or a guest speaker. Snacks and refreshments are no longer given at the end of the business meeting due to the children with food allergies. Please contact us if you are interested in attending the business meeting.
Newsletter
We publish a monthly newsletter that is full of information about the club, activities, and other items that might be of interest to our members.
Meal Support
For our expectant members, our Meal Support program is a gift from heaven. Our members volunteer to make and deliver meals for the first one to two weeks because we all know that cooking is the last thing on your mind with a brand new baby in the house.
